Baudouin Anjou Blanc Effusion 2021 – Organic White Wine

Domaine Patrick Baudouin's Anjou Blanc Effusion 2021 is a dry white wine (75 cl) made from 100% Chenin Blanc grapes grown organically in the Loire Valley (France). The vines grow on volcanic ash, sandstone, and schist soils, which impart a marked minerality to the wine. Due to a spring frost, yields were limited to 14 hl/ha, ensuring a fine structure and persistent freshness. The wine is vinified in stainless steel without wood aging, preserving the purity of the varietal expression.

The nose reveals aromas of white-fleshed fruit, wildflowers, and a mineral note typical of the Anjou Noir terroir. The palate is clean, smooth, and well-balanced, with lively acidity and a long, slightly fruity finish. It is recommended to serve at 8-10 °C, paired with fish, shellfish, or light appetizers.
